Fun Facts about Hyun Bin - One of South Korea's Favorite, Hyun Bin

Hyun Bin (aka Hyeon Bin) is one South Korea's favorite actor and model. He was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 25, 1982 with a birth name of Kim Tae Pyung (Gim Tae Pyeong).

He is noted for his lead role in the TV Drama, My Name is Kim Sam Soon which aired back in 2005 where he had received a couple of awards. A year later, he took the role of Tae-Woong in the Korean TV Drama, Snow Queen where he was awarded with Popularity Award (from KBS Drama Awards) for Male category.

He also played the character of Kim Joo Won in one of the most popular drama in 2010 -- Secret Garden. This drama has also earned him 4 awards which includes Best Couple Award (from SBS Drama Awards) with Ha Ji Won

In March 7, 2011 -- Hyun Bin joined the Marine Corps for his mandatory 2-year military service. We will be waiting for him til he comes back...
